    its not literally a paint...with paint being a thin (relatively speaking) thickness for environmental protection and decoration. the 'coating' on the most recent 'stealth' birds (manned...unmanned...etc) is more like really really thin cake icing...or very similar to truck bed coating...
    
    except its a few hundred times more expensive.
