I'd take it further to say that they are capable of world stage retaliation, although on a small scale. Israel might be land of the jedis, but under American dollars, they have built up their capabilities and are the most technological power in the region.

They haven't 'built up' their capability so much as the US directly gives them capability via economic and military aid - if that weren't the case, the US wouldn't need to increase aid given every year. Without it, they would not be able to win a conventional war with any regional adversary. Nuclear maybe, but a nuclear war always comes down to attrition, and israel is small enough that it wouldn't take many nuclear (or chemical) weapons to literally wipe it off the map. -

Maybe so, but that is besides the point.
We both agree that U.S. dollars is what has funded their growth. It still does today. Given that, those dollars have allowed Israel some level of defense, should it need it.
American presidents have always said, "We stand with Israel", but they are capable of dropping a bomb - locally - and causing any would-be faggot to piss off. That's essentially what it does. No one wants to. It's last resort. But they can.
Also, you're right. They haven't "built up" any capability that wasn't overseen or approved by the U.S. Israel is a U.S. sock puppet. Has been since 1949. -
