Granted, and I do to some extent, but when it all boils down you're all you got to look out for yourself in the end.
I struggle with trust especially placing it in the hands of a deity or people.
Feeling safe doesn't equate to being safe so while its nice to feel the comfort of others, I don't fool myself in thinking that their presence will keep me safe.
In dark times, when some weird, paranormal shit was happening which had me freaked, I asked for intuition from Plantesi if she could grant that during that rather fucky event... But I won't depend upon it. -

It also depends on the person. Some people pray and their prayers have enormous power. Spirituality is not just made up, and not just a mental illness, no matter what they say.
Prayer or whatever... It harnessing energy, manipulating it. Like people who preform spells. All that is, the items, the ritual, is just a way it helps some people focus energy. Some people need nothing, others need elaborate incantations, silver goblets, virgin blood, etc. But that's down to the individual and how well they can manipulate the energy around them for their ends. Its not even so much WHO you pray to either, though they can decide to contribute or help focus energy for said purpose... Just the belief sometimes is enough. -

Correct. The energy focus is key. Ritual takes many firms, but it is just a summoning of energy. The most important thing is that that energy has to be carefully directed. I was told when I was younger I was born with a blue veil. Which, so I'm told can make me more adept to such things, or more open to the paranormal... Which... I definitely have had my fair share of paranormal events. Not always good either. I've had a lot of negative attach to me in my youth that has followed me around... I just stubbornly tell my current poltergiest to fuck off and suck my nonexistent dick. This thing has physically written on dry erase boards, moved shit and left bloody lines down my back... I live seeing a lot of shadow people (never while on meth funnily enough). I hate those niggers... They are part if it. They don't phase me anymore, none of it does. -

Yeah, tell me about it. I might believe this shit, but I don't endorse it, its not a comfort. My father was the same way. He said when he died he was going to shoot god in the face for this fucked up system. That always makes me laugh though. I wanted to commission a huge oil painting of my dad shooting god in the face. Veil stuff is kinda mysterious. I don't have much interest in that.
Some people have unusual auras, there's a lot of different types out there. You probably have some abilities, you should explore them if you feel drawn to, you usually just know what you can do and can't do.
Poltergeist stuff is usually explained by telekinesis - people do it themselves.

I don't usually attribute colors to peoples auras when I meet them, but I can feel it. §m£ÂgØL actually has a very rare sort of aura I've never come across before, but that was years ago, shit changes too sometimes.
I do agree that some people cause their own hauntings, maybe I have inadvertantly done that, but shit is fucked and has happened even when I'm not there. And the who back bleeding with streaks of blood and shadow people definitely has fucked with me in the past. I e had guns disappear and reappear right in front of me too... That was a fucked event. Ah well... I just keep going.
When I was younger I used to dabble in such things. I think I welcomed shit into my life I shouldn't have back then that's caused this and have struggled to make it go. That's why I have a belief in it, but wouldn't say I practice anymore.

Is "feeling an aura" any different than "getting that vibe" when you first meet someone? Quite simply , intuition.
