there are several other uses but they could technically be done with a laptop, except that the laptop has to be fired up if its not left always-on, which wastes battery/power/service-life. as in…im not going to go spark up a PC just to do a three-second check on what the weather is. also, a laptop is too big and bulky in comparison to a mobile phone.
about the only thing i do on that list is take pics and the cam on this is more than adequate. if i want to check the weather i just look up. so why would i spend money on some fancy gadget that does things i never do? when i could spend that money on heroin instead ffs?

Because no matter how amazing your rig is, it's not worth $6000. It could be mineral oil cooled, have two 1080 TIs, etc, and you'd barely be pushing $3000.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Unless my math is wrong that runs about $4900 (didn't factor in taxes, or shipping). I paid $5800 in total, with free shipping. To me the extra $900 was worth it to have someone else do all the work. And btw, good luck trying to get a decent, unused GPU for less than nearly 2x retail price right now. Lucky I got in before the crypto craze got into full swing. -
