Galaxy S6 Edge. Being in mobile repair business, I have found that the S6 (regular) is total shit. One drop, LCD breaks. Battery issues too. Haven't seen that on my Edge, or any Edge for that matter. I have a graveyard of S6 parts from customer's phones, hardly any Edge's. S7's suffer the same problem. So many display assembly replacements where the glass wasn't even cracked. One fall, fucks the LCD up. Also, S6/7 has PMIC issues as well. Same with Note 4 and 5.
I've only used Samsungs personally. Would never own an iPhone. Interested in HTC for my next phone though, as a change from the same.

had a z2 for years, I only upgraded because I blasted the screen off and botched the repair. not a bad phone, but the features added in the last few years (2015-now) don't particularly interest me at all

poorfag
theres a buttfuckton of shit i do with my phone that would be inconvenient or impossible to do with a laptop.
- spontaneous pictures/video (obviously)
- assorted types of GPS usage and mapping functions (try carting a laptop out to BFE nowhere)
- OBDII interactions
- sex toy (try sticking a laptop into a chicks cooter see how that works out for you)
there are several other uses but they could technically be done with a laptop, except that the laptop has to be fired up if its not left always-on, which wastes battery/power/service-life. as in...im not going to go spark up a PC just to do a three-second check on what the weather is. also, a laptop is too big and bulky in comparison to a mobile phone.

Haven't seen any yet. Only replaced an S8 display assembly once and the rear camera for an S8+. As far as I can tell, they seem to be pretty solid. My wife has the S8 and she hasn't noticed any weird problems.

My "top-tier" PC was a little under $6000. The phone was only $900.
Money doesn't really mean anything to me.
