I don't hate guns. I believe in the 2nd Amendment (though it is an Amendment and not written into the republican law).
So if we delete out or re-amend this law, it is dangerous because it can do the same for other Amendments? be careful, You can't pick and chose.
What I would however do is raise the age limit to 21 or older. and require a special license and some kind of system that can prove stability. -

what the shit good is making the age limit 21 or older going to do? nothing but annoy 18, 19, and 20 y/os. what this is, is a case of the frog-in-the-pot. the anti-2nd amendment-ists are going to nickel and dime new, more stringent laws and rules slowly until they eventually work up to complete confiscation...so...no, you (they) cant have any new rules. -

to protect and maybe overthrow your current government once and if it turns tyrannic.
which is an ability americans had lost since world war 1. no armaments available to americans today, legal or illegal, could ever help them protect themselves form their government ... and overthrow ???

In the future, they will accuratly be able to tell the person mental state. a sort of marker that reads bio behavior and perhaps will shut down a weapon.
but until then. we're still going to need to rely on the ancient belief that Women fully mature at 19 and men around 23-24 years of age. they have raging hormones that might cause a kneejerk reaction or even humor a thought for long periods of time.. fantasising murdering as many people as possible.
yes this can happen at any age.. but it's better setting this marker at first over just plane ending gun ownership completely.. And don't worry.. all gun owners will be grandfathered into the old law. the new law can be official in say 4 years so 18 year olds now, will fall into the legalization catagory.
I bet anything it will drop off on the charts of highschool and college kids losing it. -
