It parralells into how it may be perceived. You say the colors we see is different from true wavelength. If the eyes see it however way it is, then perhaps in the mind of a blind person (or legally blind) they might see more than white flashes when they hear noises as people who can see do when partially into REM stage. Im sure you have heard a popping sound in your home (the house settling a bit?) and your eyes are closed and you see white flash with some colors that trickle down. perhaps its like a prism in the mind

It just means "The Race", there may be gangs called that but there are hundreds of organizations of that name that work towards things like the promotion of Latin cultures, scholarship foundations for Latino youths, and so on. Most are not even remotely connected to each other.
