'nicer' buildings/apartments had vestibules/foyers/parlors that could be waited in out of the weather but they were heavily policed due to fucking homeless trying to take up residency. graffiti everywhere. stray cats and dogs all over the place pissing and shitting wherever they feel like.

there are 'do not walk on the grass' signs everywhere

this isnt totally relevant but the 'legends' of giant rats in the sewers is true. i have personally seen rats that are literally the size of an average cat and they werent scared of people. also somewhat irrelevant is everywhere you have to go required an elevator ride. im not going to go into details of that, but elevators suck dick…most especially when theyre crowded, especially when you have to go to a triple-digit floor, and most especially when you have to go to a triple-digit floor and mother fuckers are stopping at every other floor to get off/on. not exaggerating…it could take 20 minutes for an elevator ride.

niggers and spics everywhere. homeless pissing and shitting everywhere. all the back alleys smell like shit/piss. the subway cars…and subways themselves…smelled like piss/shit. if you look like you have a penny to your name a nigger/spic will beg for it…or spray piss-water on your vehicles windshield, smear it around, and want money for 'cleaning your window.' true story: someone i know was in the city with his father, stuck in traffic, and some degenerate homeless fuck came up to the car, spritzed the windshield with piss-water, but before he could start his begging spiel the father pulled out his 'nightstick' to where it was visible to the dirt bag, and he hauled ass. to those that dont know, a 'nightstick' is what cops carried back in the olden days before batons were invented. they were illegal and resulted in the equivalent charges of carrying a firearm, unless you were a cop. (ironically…the then-kid was eventually bequeathed that nightstick and its sitting next to his bed to this day)

i was there in the 2000-s and the subways are exponentially cleaner but the aura of the place is still as a shithole. there are also exponentially more handsome and well tanned individuals running around but back then i never saw any mudslimes and very few slant-eyes (the slant-eyes were mostly in the slant-eye neighborhoods) but now there are mudslimes everywhere and one area i 'grew up in' in almost entirely slant-eye town. korean slant-eyes, more specifically.

No really. What City in NYC did you live in. I was curious. Is Chinatown next to the Manhattan Bridge or Williamsburg when you come out of Brooklyn? to the right if you're going west into Manhattan? The city wasn't without problems.. I could see. But I know it's nothing like it was. You can still get murdered or mugged in NYC. I know. But you're probably more likely to have your car broken into.

I stayed in Jersey City in an undeveloped area next to that Cake Boss Factory/ Carlos?. Maybe you know that area since it's a rocks throw from Manhattan. Close to Holland Tunnel. I rented a car, asked the neighbors if I should rent a garage.. they said no one fucks with the cars in this neighborhood. The only thing bad that happened was I forgot to move it for street cleaning and got a ticket. 14th and Erie. Old Tenament buildings. no elevator. 5 floors up some rickety stairs. neighbors were Old School with the accent. Nice people. the place was decent but had roaches everywhere. and I think Bed Bugs. so I split for Brooklyn. Cost twice as much. Williamsburg off of Driggs?

Anyways, No way could I leave a car in San Francisco on the street for a week without worrying about its windows getting busted out. So that's a surprize since SF used to be considered America's friendliest city. which is bullshit. It's always had a violent past.

Z Channel Killings and Zodiac where nothing compared to gangs. It's just Hollywood always portrayed NYC as the king of gangs because of it's huge population. San Francisco Bay Area Proper is now close to 8.2 Million people. So it's getting pretty crowded.

LA and Chicago are the worst cities right now with the Highest Crime rate. Chicago probably always was the worst city in the USA as for Gangs.

NYC just was a sleazy drug infested town with hookers and graffiti everywhere. So Many Highrises in NYC above 70 floors they seem to go beyond the horizon. I have never seen a city like this, since I never been out of the USA. Never been to Asia, where this is far more common.

But the story you tell sounds like Old Oakland or Old parts of San Francisco south of Market. There was even the Bayshore Projects next to Fishermans Wharf that were tall towers of "Crazy as fuck" robbing tourist waiting for a Cable Car.

those have since been replaced. it's chilled a lot.

Oakland has had the lowest murder rate in like 30-40 years. an average of 120 a year (for a city with only 600k) made it one of the worst cities in the USA. the murder rate last year was under 50. All the techies are moving in and buying in. The great San Francisco Exodus is bullshit. they're only talking about multi generation San Franciscans taking the money and running to places like Texas or Florida or North Carolina (or south) where they can buy a house and live off of the rest. and most of the Exodus aren't San Francisco or the Penensula.. it's the East Bay in places like Oakland and surrounding cities.

You can attack me but the fact is California is on the verge of collapse due to decades of liberal socialist policies. My personal confidence level is irrelevant.

That can be a good thing. surplus of rentals brings price down.

But it could mean people who are less respectful. techies tend to be slightly friendly but don't converse much. it might go back to people who don't give fucks and pollute the air with nonsense and attitude. Of course that's considered a crude statement and judgement I suppose on my part.

Not when the "more leaving" have more money than the "less arriving".

I basically just pointed out the same thing you just said but also know that the majority leaving could be entire families of low-income with a higher count versus the fewer coming in with college degrees and about to work in the tech industry so the population is going down but the people moving in will have more money and they will be renting out or purchasing the homes and building larger houses for their future families 0

I've never been to one of these events because of the high amount of security which is often Secret Service you can believe that tax paid high-end security officers because usually presidents and vice presidents of the US or other dignitaries are attending these events at The Grove along with extremely wealthy people so no I don't think they're high-end I think they're actually the opposite allowing Rich guys to kind of go middle-class outdoorsy and piss on trees and hang marshmallows over fire with their little sticks and making s'mores and talking about how they're going to control the world or take over a small country in the Africa unless you consider that high-end
