This is some specific detail for such an old memory. Or maybe I'm just retarded. All of my childhood memories are choppy. I remember more of the concept of things. How much do you REALLY remember and how much are you filling in the blanks? How can you be sure you aren't filling in the blanks. -

Fear has a very strong effect on how memory is encoded. Nearly choking to death could certainly do the trick. -

Uhhh, when you have a moment of "Shit, I think I am dying!" it tends to stick with you. I have many of what you are describing. I remember one afternoon my mother telling me "Don't wake your sister, she is sleeping". She was born in 89, so I figure this was at least 91-92. I went upstairs, saw her asleep in her lil bed, and went in and fell asleep next to her. I remember that vividly.
I have a ton of other random moments in time from my extreme youth, but the one I shared for this thread is absolutely the one that stands out the most. -

My being to prison has nothing to do with how well I can or can't fight. Don't cuck yourself into a corner because I was in prison, or that I shaved my head bald, or that I have tattoos. These are all things that some people use as a trigger for "I am intimidated". While I DO appreciate when people are intimidated of me because I am sick and love to exert dominance, I am not that way normally.

I like it when people are intimated by me too. I can get really angry -- really scare the fuck out of people just by raising my voice. So many stories in recent years where I've scared the FUCK out of people; made them cower. I gave a guy a legitimate panic attack once. That sense of power, being able to frighten grown men. It actually makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about certain instances haha. I know that sounds fucked up, but you know what I'm talking about since you can relate. I'm not that way normally either.
I'm all bark and no bite though. When I pick up a knife and scream, "I'M GONNA FUCKIN' KILL YOU, CUNT!!!" I always go into it hoping they're not going to stand up to me, since I would never actually take it to the next level. Thankfully nobody's ever called my bluff lol.
Is that wrong? Getting off on that? Or is it normal? I think it's normal. It's how a man SHOULD be. It gives me a sense of power, and I can't stress that shit enough. It's an amazing feeling.

Hahaha! I know what you mean. I have been there several times, I relied on my appearance and MILKED IT to intimidate as much as possible. Probably bluffed my way out of several ass-kickings.
I also enjoy making people afraid of me. To physically threaten them and make then afraid, such an awesome feeling. That level of dominance and power. Sometimes, when it gets me in trouble, I use that dominance and powerful persona to bluff my way out of a situation where I know I'd lose. I can hold my own, but sometimes, you just know when you're "out-gunned".
I did not repress my childhood, so I have an open book of memories. Strange. -

my first memory was when i was younger than two (that age based on two being how old i was when my parents moved into their house) when my mother was carrying me around my grandfathers house looking for keys to open the door. it was NYC so all the doors had key-locks...not knob-locks. i dont remember specific details...just the picture in my head of her tearing the house apart while carrying me while trying to find the keys... then when she found them, carrying me to the front door...then the front door being the last thing i remember.
pain, too. another young-memory, younger than two, was when my brother hit me on the head with a toy truck made of metal. -
