I use q-tips but dont go far in, or I use my finger nails or sometimes when i get out of the shower I use the corner of my towel as it wont go in far but I've been wanting to do a deep cleaning and see if I can get chunks out.

how do you guys do it? I'm thinking of putting peroxide in my ear and then using one of these that I will have to buy at walgreens. I dont have medical insurance so getting it done by a doctor isnt an option and i've personally never had my ears cleaned by a doctor anyways.

I'll moisten a q-tip and like you clean inside but not too deep, but deep enough. DEEP ENOUGH.

Ears are generally pretty self-cleaning; they're supposed to be anyway.

go to one of those self-serv car washes and stick the end of the spray gun into your ear as deeply as you can. squeeze trigger.

make sure to start with the 'soap', then the 'high pressure rinse', followed by the most important: 'wax'

I use a Q-tip and shove half of it into my ear canal and scrape my eardums. It gives me shivers and sometimes it weirdly feels like I'm poking my eye from the side.

Only faggots don't go all in.

I read that cleaning your ears voids the warranty.

Use a piece of tissue (kleenex) and quicking do the first one then the next then slowly do the first and followup with the next (right to left or w/e)

then you're suppose to take a cotton ball and run it under hot water and squeez some of the water out and tilt your ear over it and just place it to the canal. never put anything inside your ear canal if you can do so.

the hot cotton ball will melt excess wax or losen it and it will fall out over time onto the ball.. like little crumb sizes.. otherwise go have a doctor do it. it's really painful btw. or a little painful and a lot of discomfort. but if you're dizzy and losing your balance, and if it's not a tumor, it's a shitload of ear wax.

Try natural approaches, like Olive oil or (better) Almond oil. Never clean your ears dry. If you must use a q-tip (we call them cotton buds) dip it in the oil first. Placing anything into your ears puts you at risk of all sorts of problems. For instance those modern headphones/ear buds that go into your ear are bad news, and I expect all sorts of problems for the vendors of them in the future.

What symptoms do you have that you feel a need to approach your ear? Excess wax is a common one, and may be exacerbated by dairy consumption, which causes excess mucus production. You can get wax loosening products in your local pharmacy, which, combined with a spray of water into your ear during a shower, should deal with the problem.

If you have dry skin around the ear it may be a sign of a fungal problem, like candida. You can find cream for thrush which can deal with it.

If you have pain it may be an infection, and you just need 2 weeks of amoxicillin + preferably antibiotic ointment, both of which a doctor will try to rip you off for a prescription for if you live in the first world. I know the pain of having an ear infection and having to save up to see a doctor just to get a note allowing me to buy exactly what I already knew I needed.

Almond oil is a great antibacterial and antifungal and also softens ear wax. I'd recommend it as the first resort.

I honestly don't have any symptoms I think.. I have tinnitus.. but from what ive read that has nothing to do with ear wax. I just have had an obsession with growing out my pinky nails as a kid and scraping out wax and it felt good, so like 1-2 times i month i use a q-tip on the outer part.

My friend told me the other day he went to the doctor and got his earls cleaned and he could hear a lot better so it peaked my interest.

and yes i've heard about oil but wouldn't oil coat your ear drum? making it even harder to hear?

and even if i use oil that will only soften it but i still would need to flush it.. yes yes?

its just my dad and my lil bro have both had problems with ear wax build up and have had them professonaly flushed and tons of shit came out and it just makes me wonder if I could do something like that and get some of it out. I have very greasy ear wax and with all the sweat and dust.. and potential mites that crawl in my ear you never really know whats up.

plus I wake up at nights scratching the shit out of my ears.

when i was 16 i would take adderall and obsessively clean my ears to the point to where they would bleed and my dad would have to take tweezers and remove bloody scabs from my ear... and this was years ago so im sure they are pretty filthy.. not on the outside where people can see but deep deep inside.
