1. The US and Israel have long-term plans to attack Iran. Iraq and Syria were Iranian allies, and destroying those allies were the first step toward attacking Iran proper.
2. Oil and gas pipelines. Syria has moderate gas reserves, but it's real geopolitical value is as a transit country. The US, Gulf states and Israel wanted to build a pipeline through Syria to Turkey and the EU, allowing Gulf and Israeli gas (extracted from the occupied territories in the Golan and contested underwater reserves near Lebanon no less) to compete with Russian gas deliveries to Western Europe. Assad declined in favour of building pipelines to deliver Iranian gas to Europe, which made the oligarchs very, very unhappy.

if you really think of it ... negros really have nothing to do with diversity. they didn came/gone to the USA thru some diversity programs or green card lotteries ....
they're there/here becos they were brought/sent, forcibly, there/here by white who wanted more intelligent workhorses and not sending them back once their warranty have expired.
