   From my knowledge the Clydesdale is a type of old-timey dance born in the 1650s and commonly associated with hoedowns and barnyard gatherings. It's lost a degree of popularity over the years but still has a steady band of devout followers.
   
   To 'precum like the Clydesdale' is likely reference to a peculiar phenomenon in the late 1700s where seemingly random dancers would uncontrollably flail a sped up version of the Clydesdale dance moves prior to the actual dance. The dancers were said to remember doing so but were unable to explain why.
   
   I found this completely SFW link that looks like it probably addresses this stuff better than I can. I didn't get a chance to visit it quite yet but I'm almost positive barnlove is a musical history website.
