Yeah of course, I've never said whites or anyone else are blameless, but according to those (and most other) statistics, blacks commit vastly more crimes per capita than any other racial group. It's gotten so bad that Canada and some European countries have made it illegal to provide race-based statistics because they contribute to 'racialist narratives' - ie., blacks and other minorities are committing crimes at much higher rates than anyone else, and 'white nationalist' groups are pointing it out.
You could make arguments for social conditioning, biased legal and policing practices or genetic predisposition; none is conclusive but ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away. I'd argue that many of the racial problems the US is experiencing are rooted in it's foreign policy and treatment of the 'lesser' peoples of the world, but that's really beyond the scope of what we're talking about.
There is a 'racial resurgence' though - I think the best way I've heard it described is that previously, white people were such a majority (socially, but also uniformly occupied positions of power) that they never really considered themselves as a racial group, they were simply 'the majority' or 'normal'. Now that their majority is weakening, they're starting to think of themselves as a group that's under threat - circling the wagons against things they deem threatening, ranging from street violence, to attacks on their culture (the present war against historical statues), the 'dumbing down' of the education system to accommodate minorities that traditionally score poorly and open hostility from groups like BLM and US-Antifa and the like.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
