You're right. The history of the world outside of Europe is one of pacifism and harmony.
Being good at killing is the only thing that allowed us to survive repeated Muslim invasions over 1400 years, even as the Christian Middle East fell to a dark age of superstition, inbreeding and repression, and liberate Spain from Arab warlords (the only country ever to be de-islamised). We even managed to sort of hold off the Mongols.
