So has anyone here seen event horizon? it was directed by the guy that did mortal kombat.

Smash and grab would be burglary. Unless it includes threatening or hurting someone, then it's robbery. Larceny is just theft. Either the theft aspect of one of those crimes, potentially, or just like... grabbing money out of someone's purse, as an example. Stealing without the use of force. Shoplifting is a specific type of larceny.

if you break something then it becomes more charges. larceny is just stealing shit. breaking shit has other added charges like burglary...malicious destruction of property...depending on local laws and whatever thumb the prosecutor has up their ass at the time.
