some guns are easier to turn into fully automatic than others. communist ones are the easiest that i know of. AR15s arent hard but if you do it they become 'annoying'…as in reliability, controllability, the barrel goes to shit after ONE magazine of 30 or 40 rounds, to say nothing of the mag emptying in…like…two seconds. the commie ones feel like they have a slower rate of fire making them more controllable…and i dont know why but the barrels dont seem to go to shit after a 30-round mag. while the AR15 will 'cook' rounds trying to go into the chamber i cant recall a 7.62x 39/54 doing it as quickly as an AR. there are other reasons…but basically ARs and AKs are shit to make into fully-automatic and the only reason to do so is for shits and giggles, not practical employment.
my bet is the firing stopped because the fucktard fried his shit and couldnt get it to shoot anymore.
its virtually impossible to differentiate between fully-automatic and bump-fire as they have virtually the same rate of fire.
the first video i heard i would have testified in court that it was a .308/.311 caliber due to the sound and 'speed'…as in rate of fire. ive heard subsequent videos that were nowhere near similar to that sound but now that the photos show .223, that caliber is obvious.
There is a moment where you can hear a lag in his shots like he fucked up his grip for a while. -
2017-10-04 at 1:06 PM UTCdid any of you even consider that the shooter may have been on a platform moving forward and back while shooting, creating a doppler shift effect?

2017-10-04 at 1:18 PM UTCIt's slowly coming in that the "shooter" was actually an FBI agent, who was setting up a sting on ISIS weapons buyers in the hotel room. The ISIS soldiers found out who he was, and when they arrived, they shot him, then decided to launch an attack on the crowd below. Apparently, the FBI and local police know this, but are deliberately concealing the information from the public.

Automatic weapons don't really work that way, but this is what I'm talking about when I say two different rates of fire. That's why I say it had to be bump fire or multiple shooters.
Personally I think it was multiple shooters -

true. that is the entire reason full-auto was invented. ask anyone from WWI.
accuracy suffers IN RIFLES NOT DESIGNED FOR FULL AUTO. full-auto cannons are specifically designed NOT to have precision impact points of the bullets. -

ive listened to multiple different videos, altho not in proper time sequence, but at no point in any of them was there ever more than one, single, rifle being fired. -

Have you watched the cab driver video when she's parked under Mandalay? You can definitely hear two different gunshots from two different areas. -

2017-10-04 at 3:56 PM UTCBut it could be that when one shooter ran out his clip, the next shooter began firing his new clip, and back and forth like that, which would make it sound like a single shooter.

if you're concerned about it being too long you could buy or convert to a carbine which is designed to have a shorter (though not ridiculously short) form at the cost of some range, but for 'riot control' you'd typically want a shotgun, ideally semi-automatic if you need to be 'controlling' a lot of people at once
becos when your a criminal in a country with no 2nd amendment, or amendment of any kind, you crime with whatever you can get, not want.
is it easy for you to get guns illegally in arsetrallia ??? -
