Either way this argument kind of falls apart when we allow women in the service. FTM benefit from taking testosterone and MTF benefit from their XY chromosomes/having grown up male. At worst, you're essentially saying "they're female so they're unfit for service", but females are allowed to serve so...
That said, I agree, banning from military service is a kindness. It's nice to be protected with no expectations. ;) -
