The question has nothing to do with NK. The question lies with the korean penninsula, and other Russian and Chinese interests. Russia, China, the U.S., and some wealthy city states control politics worldwide through money, guns, political pressure, and covert ops. NK is a pawn used by China to distract the US from other matters. India and Brazil are Russian allies, and Russia is very successful at running propaganda and encouraging division in America. China is economic allies with Russia, and the two are probably not coordinating but rather tensely dancing in the same direction out of mutual gain. China and Russia don't need any more resources or land, they have a fuck ton. What they do need is more money, which they get by exploiting the politically naive US, and weak countries like Tibet and Ukraine. I don't see an actual war involving the US happening unless the Middle East gets out of hand and Russia and the US have opposing allies there, but that's not going to happen cause nobody gives a shit about those fucks enough to declare war. North Korea is just gonna fizzle and blow out and get absorbed by China, or will become a less totalitarian country after a regime change. Stop investing in bunkers, folks, invest in real estate in Vancouver.

JIDF Controlled Opposition
1. China doesn't control NK, at times they're very unhappy with NK's shenanigans but the salient point is that China understands that NK needs nuclear weapons as a legitimate natiional security interest. they don't particularly care if NK has nuclear weapons or not, their only real concern is regional stability.
2. Russia (I'm not certain the government supports them, but probably) operates several propaganda outfits in Europe, but the only ones aimed at the US are RT and Sputnik, and they're just as legitimate news outlets as any other.
3. There is deep co-ordination between Russia and China, advertised or not because they see the US as their common enemy. Co-operation between Russia and Germany is building in secret.
4. Russia and China don't really need to exploit anyone; they're both rich in natural resources, their main goal is to bring their wares to new markets (ala the OBOR initiative) and end the US stranglehold on fuel (US/gulf states are able to control economic growth by manipulating oil prices). Tibet and Ukraine have little economic value in the long run - the US destabilised Ukraine explicitly to interfere with Russian gas delivery to the EU, as was the goal behind the most recent round of sanctions.
5. This is a bit more grey, but I believe that the Gulf States (specifically KSA) have enormous influence on US foreign policy (due to their involvement with state debt and the Federal Reserve - I'll find an article that outlines it if you're interested) and that Assad will likely reclaim all of Syria is an existential threat to them. As such, the US is likely to go to extreme measures if (when) their plans in Syria fail.
