Ok, I'll have to look into that.

What did you buy it for?
  3. so the trackpads use haptics to kind of click and vibrate, and it essentially simulates a trackball on the right pad... It's actually kind of nuts, I thought it felt like shit at first because I tried to use the trackpad like an analogue stick, but when I figured out it was more like a trackball, it made sense and got pretty good.

    I like your photos better.

Jsut to generally play games. I bought a Steam Link, which is basically a better version of in-home streaming, like it essentially lets you semi-wirelessly put your PC screen onto your TV over your home network. So I bought the controller as well to play Civ and shit on the couch.

So what's the difference with the trackball pad?

Are the axis switched? I'll have to touch this.

It's just a cool round trackpad, which can be customized to be like whatever. You can make a hybrid of a trackpad and an analogue too, where you can set a "live zone" where it keep scrolling in the direction you are holding, and a "dead zone" where it just moves like a normal track pad. And so on. They just have 2 trackpads with haptics instead of other stuff, plus they have an analogue and ABXY pad. That makes it very flexible, which is necessary/better to actually play PC games on a TV, not just console ports.

It's very customizable, so you can switch axes etc. Plus there are "paddles" on the back where your usually unused fingers sit, so you can have an additional 2 buttons.

Makes sense for PC gaming, I guess. Strategy games especially.

I couldn't see myself getting used to it with the games I play.

    I saw the paddle/trigger things. That's neat.

  14. how much are these steam controllers?

$35. I'd stick to 360 if you just want to play console ports and shit. The Steam Controller works well for console ports but the 360 controller is probably better. The main thing that's good about the Steam Controller is that it makes games that are traditionally impossible to play decently without M+KB, for example Civ V, actually decently playable on a gamepad. That means you can kick back and play them on the couch much more easily.

Do you know the toads that give birth through their backs? You should make a bunch of them give birth inside a chick that's giving birth.

You just paint wraparound glasses black and drill holes in the center. These are pretty cheap, although I'm concerned about how well they adhere to the face, I'm very sensitive to gaps. Pics aren't good enough to tell if this may be an issue, and craniofacial shape always plays an important factor. Fortunately stability shouldn't be much of an issue since I won't be moving around, and glasses are easy to mod if they don't rest well on the bridge of your nose or ears. https://www.amazon.com/WebDeals-Futuristic-Monoblock-Cyclops-Sunglasses/dp/B01BNVCU3O/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1498427106&sr=8-13&keywords=wraparound%2Bsunglasses%2Bfor%2Bmen&th=1

The above will help with some of the visual differences in the tism. Very wide peripheral vision, increased amount of information taken in, and distraction caused by it. The below are for auditory sensory issue.

High fidelity earplugs. They don't distort the frequency, muffle sounds, like standard earplugs. Always have a pair of earplugs in due to sensitive hearing and sensory gating issues, just like with vision. I like these because they have multiple inserts with varying decibel reduction: https://www.amazon.com/Alpine-MusicSafe/dp/B00MEE876O/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_txt?ie=UTF8&th=1

And a pair of hearing protection ear muffs, which are often worn by people with classical autism. Just going to use them when reading, background noise can annoy the hell out of me: https://www.amazon.com/ClearArmor-141001-Shooters-Protection-Folding-Padded/dp/B00NKSMPZW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1498426564&sr=8-3&keywords=ear+muffs
