    Getting Lost

    Each time that you move a space on the world map, there is a chance that your character will become lost. If this happens, you'll be forced to enter the zone you're currently travelling over, and you won't be able to re-enter the world map until you regain your bearings. You can regain your bearings by talking to another humanoid, or if you can't find someone to talk to, you will have a chance to regain your bearings naturally each time that you enter a new zone. The chance to become lost is 12% everywhere except the salt dunes (where it is 10%),but there are many means to reduce this.

    The bonuses listed below can stack, and broadly they add together. This means if the player uses gyrocopter backpack and anti-gravity boots together, which have Level 4 and level 6 flight (52% and 60% reduction respectively), the player will reach 100% reduction and not get lost.

    AKA Every time you move on the map, you get lost. So you walk out of a village 1 tiles, get lost, walk 20 tiles away to find your bearings and then when you find your bearings you just get lost again. Repeat until you encounter some shit that kills you. This is how I died every single time. Fuck this game

    Everyone is talking about this newest indie hit "Card Shop Simulator" but it seems kinda gimmicky to me and doesn't go very deep. I understand that it's in Beta and is a barebones game with many planned future features, i've seen about 10mins of gameplay from many different perspectives. It kinda reminds me of the PalWorld hype where it's like people want these mechanics similar to Nintendo games with "Monster Catching" or "Card Collecting" but the concepts are merged into survival crafting in the case of PalWorld, or Simulation and 3D environment physics with Card Shop Simulator.

    I think it's supposed to be like Reccetear but cards instead of dungeon items. I'm not really interested in the game, I've seen enough and the mechanics seem surface level to me for a "Simulation" game. I would consider pokemon TCG for the GBC to be a better "card game" overall and it has no simulation mechanics at all (except for simulating playing the physics pokemon trading card game) which CARD SHOP SIMULATOR doesn't even HAVE an 'actual, fictional' card game, but it has cards with stats? It's very strange and mostly about making money like a Tycoon game. Opening packs, pulling cards and stuff, it's weird.

    I just wanted to do a dungeon and progress in the main story quest.

    The dungeon was too hard so I gave up and decided to go out in a suicidal blaze of glory. I spent all my money on the location of a legendary jedieler, across the entire world map. The dude had a bunch of legendary guards but I brought my army of monkeys and goat men.

    I was fighting in a corner detonating stun grenades and sleep gas while wearing sunglasses and a gas mask while my companions were dying one by one, but eventually they killed the two traders so I grabbed all the shit with 10% health after injecting all the drugs, the last drug left was the one that lets you walk through walls so I just walked out.
    But then I started overdosing from all the drugs I took so I couldn't go back to save anyone, I was tripping balls so hard I couldn't even see the loot, I had to GTFO


    It was just me and the one goat person carrying the most worthless stuff, he was all I had now. Also after killing all those people it said 20 factions now hate me
    I escaped to a desert trader and sold some of the shit


    Then I decided to visit the "Six Day Stilt" main trading hub with all my new found wealth and fortune. I was attacked by every single vendor, and ONLY the vendors, not the guards. The vendors were VERY pissed that I killed this famed gem trader and his friends.

    So I killed every vendor in that town, stole a dozen cybernetic mutations, installed them all and even found a medical textbook that teaches me how to cure my strange infections and regrow my tongue



    I think I can finally do that dungeon now

    This would be like thanking the culture that invented the concept of wheels every time you drive a Tesla. I refuse to admit sseth had any influence on my decision to play this game I AM OFFENDED BY THE ACCUSATION!!!


    and I can't prove it because I got my first achievement in Qud on September 24th BUT I KNOW IN MY HEART!!! I did NOT watch that video until after playing the game!!!!!


    I did see the video long ago, but that doesn't count because I am not actually a sseth watcher

    SS13 is a lot of fun but it's been dead for years (even though it's more popular than ever right now, and on Steam)

    Kiwifarms wants to "make ss13 great again" because the Steam developer is a transgender furry that bans foul language. but the real OG SS13 servers let you say "nigger" and roleplay as George Floyd getting choked to death by a security officer and overdosing on fentanyl
