its a cool camera but when you zoom all the way in the thing has a hard time stablizing auto focus. but I bought it to take photos of the moon when it sets full and also to replace the expensive camera stolen out of my car. Will never buy a high end camera again with change out lens. but I did check out the new Coolpix 1000 by Nikon which is like 1000 bucks. but its said to be the most advance bridge camera with 125x optic zoom and mirror-lessThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

i thought about getting on with a camera mount... but wasn't sure if id like it- i'd have my phone with me, not an actual camera. im not that big into photography to preference. $340 seems good. I'm not planning on going all crazy like friend did spending $800. how dumb. i mean, as long as it keeps me and a pup afloat... my ass is all good!
FFS. $800 is half an airline ticket to SPAIN. *where I thinking- i might go to next. :) -

This site is pretty good if you are looking to travel. They often have cheap flights listed, but you have to be quick cos the prices often increase if you don't book quickly. -

2024-07-17 at 7:56 PM UTCI think it was Donald Trump who suggested I get a bridge camera. it's pretty decent but the auto focus can't focus on x67. so you have to do it in manual mode and it works great. also best to have on a tripod for x67 zoom. Digital zoom is a fucking joke. it just crops in real time diminishing the pixel count.

I really like the mirror less 4k that has the 125x Nikon Coolpix. for a set lens it's considered the best in its class but it's still 1000 for a refurbish. I'm hoping it comes down in price below 700 Mark. I'm sure it will eventually. maybe 3-4 years time.
a Trip to Spain is a one time event. The camera can bring much joy for years
its a big jump in quality. I'v seen the shot of the moon taken by it. it's pretty amazing. -
