Don't vote for a party that won't win when people will move to the far right over time anyway when immigration is worse than it is now. Voting reform now won't help. Labour needs to restore sanity first.

this is interesting, I've read a bunch about it before

raw IQ correlates closely to reaction time, so we're able to roughly estimate average IQs in societies that recorded reaction times in a significant portion of the population.

reaction times were faster in Victorian England, but in modern times the correlation breaks down - reaction times are lower but measured IQs are higher, implying that natural intelligence has declined but education and training have at least to some degree made up the difference

Honestly I got that idea from Edward Dutton, and he has the full explanation of how we know it (it's super spergy, but probably true).

"The words of the wise are like oxgoads and their collected sayings are like firmly embedded nails; they have been given from one shepherd. As for anything besides these, my son, be warned: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion to them is wearisome to the flesh. The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. For the true God will judge every deed, including every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad."
