israel reports the cost of each Iron Jude interceptor as around $60k but in all likelihood they're underestimating at least 5x
in the last month or two Hez has been firing off barrages of 30-50 unguided WWII-era Katyushas every other day. cost ratio alone is insane but you've also got to keep in mind how long it takes to manufacture new ones to replenish stocks; by the numbers israel resources are being ground down orders of magnitude faster than Hez's even if you assume they started with more.
running out of AA munitions isn't like a 'one day they can stop missiles, the next day they can't' thing either - as supplies dwindle they're forced to reduce the area they can protect, the umbrella gets smaller so the potential targets that are unprotected grows and grows until the only things your enemies can't reliably hit are the biggest population centres and most important military installations

Now this makes me wonder...to defeat the touted Iron Dome (which is a three ringed system, and honestly quite formidable on paper), all someone would have to do is spam endless shit weapons at it until it depletes and then drop the main payload. lol

I imagine Israel has a similar program as the old USSR "Dead Hand" one, where they can potentially kill off their attacker, even in death.

Iron Dome is for cheap missiles, ARROW is based on the US PATRIOT system and is meant for cruise missiles and stuff, DAVID'S SLING is supposed to be specifically for ICBMs from Iran, they're not really interchangeable in terms of what they're meant to target. plus the cost of a PATRIOT PAC3 is like 4mil per interceptor, who knows about the SLING or even if it actually works.

probably, they still talk about their SAMSUNG OPTION all the time but they only have like 80 warheads and who knows if they've even been properly maintained - their program seems to be very small and haven't had any overt outside help in maintaining/expanding it
