Okay, I can agree that there are societal factors associated with committing crime. Of course there are. And to an extent, everyone is a victim of circumstance in that regard; you grow up in a single parent household with 4 siblings, all living on food stamps and with the shittest schools in the state, yes you are going to be cucked. But ultimately, whatever set of factors lead you to a life of crime or set you up for terrible decision making, shouldn't that be rolled into the umbrella of "stupid"? Do you have to have uncaused agency from outside of time and space to be an idiot?
You can launch the same defence for literally any action. Imagine if somebody kept pouring milk till the glass was full, and then kept pouring it as it spilled out, and pouring, and pouring, till your entire jug of milk was gone, just blankly staring at it like a retard. Was that a stupid thing to do? "But he made the decision to pour your milk out because of all the circumstances that brought him into this position bruh!" Well sure thing, but it's still stupid. He was stupid. He did a stupid thing.

The point of the analogy was that when people use the word "stupid", they're not talking about someone being an uncaused agent of absolute free will outside of space and time, who makes a suboptimal decision. So nobody should ever try to become something that they're not? How do you know if 'you really have no business doing' something? I'm trying to understand m8, I really am. It sounds like you're arguing that if you're not a "professional criminal" you shouldn't be doing crime. How the fuck does one become a professional criminal? To be frank, most of the best at any profession, have made the proper mistakes and learned from them in order to become better at their respective profession, and in this case, crime can be a matter of trial and error, learning from mistakes. Retarded crime, to me, is getting caught, and then doing the same crime in the same fashion again.

Because it's "making a mistake" that's entirely avoidable, only you still do it because that's what chaos is like.
