I don't see myself as a corporate soldier, I was speaking from like... the perspective of one.
I see myself as the super cool edge running solo, obviously. This is my utopian cyberpunk dystopia fanfic, I'm not gonna be a corpo rat. I'm gonna get killed by the McDeathSquads.

2024-03-11 at 1:15 PM UTCI saw a movie once where all the soldiers were mindless AMERICANS that lived off stimulant ENERGY BARS and would just shout like grunts, chew on their bars and then get dropped into god knows where to commit acts of atrocity on the local population or enemies or whatever, they GOT SHIT DONE and chewed their bars and left wrappers all over the place
I can't find any clips of it on youtube though it was a pretty obscure film but I thought that vision of future is cool

might have been one of the "Universal Soldier" films, or some really obscure old B tier shit
nobody remembers it on the internet lol I can't find shit about it. I found a clip once and found info on a dead wiki before. I think it was about the drug they take making them super soldiers
it's not any of these

i agree mercenaries are bad, at least. like i said, they're a stopgap measure for a world too cowardly for corporate standing armies. combining this with corporate extraterritoriality will manifest as a quasi "corporate statehood", the best and most utopian/dystopian cyberpunk form of governance. democracies are decadent and weak, destined to fail. autocracies and monarchies are prone to failure when retards come to power (see also: rome). corporations, though, are driven by capital to achieve.
i will give my life for the zaibatsu. 🫡 -
