So, let's say you want to get some where to clear your head, and you are hungry. Obviously you would go to a restaurant. Perhaps your own home, the two are not so different. You are sitting somewhere and eating food. That is the purpose of a kitchen and dining room. Perhaps, if you fancy it, eating in someone else's house and paying for it would be worth it sometimes: millions of Americans do it many times a year when they eat fast food. What is the shame in a table for one?

It's just sad to see someone going to a restaurant and not having anyone to eat with. Eating is consistently seen as a communal activity especially going out to eat in the West. Like if a man goes to the bar to drink and is alone, he will generally find others to talk to while drinking. But when someone just munches some fast food or an orange there isn't a reason to do it with people
but when you see 1 lonely nigga eating a meal by himself it's just kinda sad, I'd get a dinner with you.

thats idiotic
i go to get food by myself all the time for assorted reasons. the last time was when i felt the urge for brisket at the same time i had to read through a long-ass contract and someone at the same table would have been a distraction.
if i wanted companionship id bring a chick. if i want to eat in quiet...i dont.

I used to always visit my friend across town on the weekends and I would ride the public transit in downtown Calgary Alberta and I would have $20 to last the weekend so I spent my friday evening at a random bus or train station looking for fast food and I would sit there with my $5 bowl of wendys chili watching the rain and pretty girls out the window in a time before smart phones or cell phones were a thing
I maybe had an Mp3 player with some rock and roll or a radio player. Life and times were simpler back then man, I didn't even smoke weed and I just wanted to play halo 3 with my buddy on the weekend.
There is no shame in a table for one in those times. Nowadays it's always I gotta hash tag sit at my table alone and write and instagram story about it and take a selfie of me sitting alone and make a youtube short about #FEELS and being forever alone and that feel when no gf when sitting at a table eating wendys chili and sitting at a table alone has gotta trend on X formally known as twitter and sitting at tables alone becomes a cultural trend left over from the days of COVID
I also like to go to bars alone and order drinks, drink them and leave without talking to anyone mostly because i'm an alcoholic and trying to drink at that point in time.
