The private sector made out like bandits working hand in hand I would say did much better almost to a point of the public sphere detriment where nobody in their right mind would trust a government anywhere to be able to keep supplies flowing as it was a global gridlock of regulation and it became up to the private sector to fill in, replace and take over a lot of things and become more decentralized and independent.
A lot of them haven't gone back and it's caused long term legal shifts where industry is allowed more freedom and less reliant on regulation while everyone else has to wear a mask at work the company doesn't give a shit what the local policy is as long as the goods keep flowing and they still make money it doesn't matter if people wear a mask or not or get vaccinated or not.
If it was a plan by the public to gain control they lost hard. If it was a plan by anyone it would be big pharma companies because they gained more control than anyone, they don't even need to follow FDA regulations to make drugs anymore. -

Posting a bunch of stuff about racial crimes statistics or articles about jedi malfeasance all the time and claiming you're just "lighting firecrackers and throwing them" would betray something about a person, right? A person with a preoccupation with those subjects clearly thinks those subjects matter enough to justify their relative prominence in the discussions they start. If not an "activist" per se, they're someone with a goal of advancing a particular agenda. If there's a word that covers the general case of you, antisemitic conspiracy theorists, and race realists where "activist" doesn't suffice, I don't know it. Ideologue?
