Scott Ritter says the dead yanks were inside Syria. Makes sense that they'd say "oh they were on the most convenient side of the border for us".

its like a break in while the uncle and nephew is in the bedroom.

the uncle cant talk about the break in because he wasnt suppose to be there and the nephew cant talk about it because hes not supose to let uncle come into his room.

the picture shows more serious problem than just intermingling.

    or miscegenation.
  6. How can you tell the officers from the enlisted?

Just in case I'm ever up a tree with a rifle.

they specifically don't salute or wear obvious markings in warzones for that reason

    That.

They all have the same uniforms and rank insignia and 'important' patches are on velcro so they can be removed. And they don't salute or carry radios or different pistols

    interesting take on that

I haven't seen any evidence that the strike was actually at al-Tanf, Larry thinks that it was actually at T22 but Jordan was trying to deny it to hide the fact that it allows the US military to operate on its territory.

interestingly the US is claiming that it didn't try to intercept the drone (which would've had to have carried a very large warhead for 50+ casualties) because they thought it was one of their own.

    https://blackdotresearch.sg/have-the-houthis-threatened-to-cut-internet-cables-in-the-red-sea/

The claim that the Houthis, a Yemeni religious and military organization who control North Yemen, have threatened to cut vital internet-providing fibre optic cables has been circulating on social media.

According to the claim, this would cut off 99% of the world’s internet traffic and is part of the ongoing conflict between the Houthis and Israel, the United States and its allies. Since November 2023, the Houthis have announced and enforced a blockade on merchant ships passing through its territorial waters in the Red Sea. The US has since retaliated with airstrikes, but the conflict remains unresolved and ongoing.

the media attributed this threat to Yemen and keeps reviving it, even though Ansarallah has denied threatening the cables. it doesn't really make sense for them to escalate to that either; their operations have so far been directed only at israel and the countries that are aiding them in the war against Arab children and indiscriminately cutting communications networks apart would affect its allies as much as its enemies.

keep this in mind if there are significant transnational internet outages in the near-mid future.

Originally posted by ner vegas if scenario #2 is true, it implies that the US 'response' will be largely symbolic. this would probably be the more reasonable course of action if only to placate the dangerous retards in congress but US policy has never been 'reasonable', especially when it comes to israel. Iran has already stated publicly that it will respond militarily to any direct strike on its personnel or territory.

I've seen it suggested that the US is likely to attack an Iranian naval ship, specifically one of the ones that appear to be helping co-ordinate the Yemeni blockade, and this seems likely to me as the US considers it less provocative than a direct attack on Iranian territory. Iran will, however, respond and escalate further.

    bombers supposedly in the air

unofficially the US is likely to target 'Iranian-backed' facilities in Iraq and Syria rather than Iran itself, but they're already targeting the 'resistance' groups in Iraq and Syria so we'll have to see what makes this attack special.
