AFU shot down a Russian transport plane near Belgorod, initially claiming it was carrying S-300 missiles.
turns out it was carrying 65 AFU prisoners of war to an agreed-upon prisoner exchange, which is why it was flying without support and with its transponder on.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

2024-01-24 at 12:06 PM UTCI just read the news piece...according to it the Ukrainians were notified way ahead of time there were two aircraft transporting ukrainian prisoners to return then in an exchange. The Ukrainians used multiple missiles to down this thing...
This is more evidence I'm going to use to say the actual goal of the ukraine/Russia conflict is ethnic cleansing -

It sums up the all fur coat, no knickers mentality that they have that they wouldn't even ask "am I being retarded" before going full Rambo on a big slow transport plane making no effort to hide or evade in any way. There were a lot of similar incidents early on in the war too.

Zaluzhny was originally being groomed to replace Zelensky if he tried to break from the company line, but I guess it didn't work out because more and more Zaluzhny's been pushing back against increased mobilisation and wasting manpower on doomed offensives.
