Looks like the Brits did another of their strokes. They signed some sort of alliance with Ukraine whereby the Brits will give Ukraine intelligence and training, with NATO membership being talked about. What this means is that Russia may decide it has to take over Kiev, and that a negotiated peace is no longer possible. Beware Brits bearing gifts.

Cruise missiles generally use the same type of power plant as jets do. They don't always run at 100% throttle. The faster they go...the shorter the range, so the guidance programming generally has a cruise speed set which is significantly slower than max speed and quite significantly slower that a solid-fuelled MANPAD
