    About a week ago Texas authorities banned Federal Border Agents from large sections of the Mexico border, on the basis that federal agents were taking down barricades that the Texas agents had been erecting to prevent crossings. Primarily they claim to have taken down barricades they deemed dangerous, such as ones employing barbed/razor/concertina wire.

    The federal government has now given Texas a 1-day deadline to allow federal Border Patrol agents access to the border.

    It's a pretty big shitty island. According to them they had tunnels, a literal fucking meth lab warehouse, gun battles on the island.

    I want to live there so bad and just hold the place down. I have a feeling if you homesteaded there the cartel would show up and offer you money to not say anything about their activities and my guess is if you say no they just shoot you. That's how they play

    all you would need to set up a meth lab is access to lots of water (check) and power (bring a generator) it's such a good spot out in the middle of nowhere in an internationally contested water. Theoretically if you were left alone that place will probably end up being a industrial pharmaceutical factory in 200 years if not just for the fact that it's located on a border near a bunch of cheap labor and away from MUNICIPAL WASTE LAWS
