https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/12/26/7434630/The Ministry of Defence of Russia confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the large landing ship Novocherkassk in occupied Feodosiia (Crimea) with missiles fired from Su-24 aircraft on the night of 25-26 December.
Novocherkassk, a large landing ship from the Russian Black Sea Fleet, had been destroyed near Feodosiia by cruise missiles from tactical aircraft belonging to Ukraine’s Air Force.
The Russian Defence Ministry reported that the large landing ship Novocherkassk was damaged in Feodosiia last night "during the repelling of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using air-guided missiles."
The Russian ministry claims that "two Ukrainian Su-24s that were launching missiles were destroyed by air defence during anti-aircraft combat". Ukraine’s Air Force refuted the statement.

I assume that this is just the yanks and the brits trying out their weapons.
If Ukraine wanted to hurt Russia they'd hit their Black Sea oil and gas export infrastructure. Of course presumably the west would never allow that in an election year with how much yanks complain about the price of petrol. -

Of course Ukraine continues to pump in and transit Russian gas. War is just for the poor. -

Looks like the ship in Crimea that got blown up was an oil tanker of some sort, not a landing ship. Also the missile responsible was a 550km British Storm Shadow, which is notable as it's not the 300km export variant that they had given to Ukraine. So the Brits are more or less directly targeting Russia, using the Hohols as cover, wonder if it's retaliation for the Russians blowing up the high up NATO ghouls in that hotel recently?

I can't tell anything from that picture and I don't believe a damned thing any of them say
The range of the missile is impossible to tell unless the exact launch location is given. The SU24s could have launched them from 50 miles away from the targets...or 299km away...or 500km away -

Britain has become the first country to send long-range missiles to Ukraine, prompting President Putin’s spokesman to threaten a military response.
Storm Shadow cruise missiles have a typical range of about 155 miles, enabling Ukraine to strike deep behind the front lines and disrupt Russian supply lines before a spring counteroffensive.
Rishi Sunak promised the missiles during a visit by President Zelensky to the UK in February. He reiterated his pledge at the Munich security conference later that month, saying that Kyiv needed protection from “Russian bombs and Iranian drones”.

Good. Someone nuke someone already and do away with all this foreplay -
2023-12-26 at 3:46 PM UTCRussia would be smart to nuke Britain right now.
