Iraqi militias confirmed it was them, weird to only use one drone though.
also it's a safe bet that the 'Islamic Resistance in Iraq' falls into the same command/advisory structure as Hezbullah so one doesn't act without the other knowing anyway -

probably because they felt like they were being left out of all the anti-semitism going on and wanted to toss some fireworks into the show -

not sure what's going on with this one
this is interesting because it was supposedly struck something like 700km away from Yemeni borders, and news articles are being deliberately vague about the vessel itself. it's apparently a Liberia-flagged chemical tanker that was making the journey from Saudi Arabia to India, and it's a pain in the dick trying to work out the actual vessel without paying for a marine tracking service.
best guess at the moment: it may have been the Africa, IMO 9905320.
either someone launched a drone attack from a ship rather than a ground base or this is some kind of accident or false flag they're using to try to scare people into joining Operation Prostate Goblin. -
2023-12-23 at 12:26 PM UTCok it was more likely the SUGAR, IMO 9251547
it was owned by an Italian company and called the VALLE DI NAVARRA up until last year but I can't seem to find anything about its current owner. -

OK. actual info.
The ship in question is most likely the SUGAR, IMO 9251547. As per VesselFinder, its last stop was Jeddah Anchorage, Saudi Arabia and was headed to Krishnapatnam, India and appears to be delayed.
It was hard to track down information on the ship, but as it turns out there's a relatively open database related to insurance risk that lists the current operator of a ship if you have its name/IMO - https://www.marinerating.com/ships/9251547/SUGAR.
According to this database it's operated by IMS S.A. which sent me down a bunch of dead ends because there are like 20 different shipping companies with some variant of that name, International Maritime Services, International Marine Shipping etc., none of which have coherent websites or list their inventory.
After a bunch of searches I found that this particular company is associated with Castus Enterprises, which is a Greek company with the same address as a small company called IMS S.A., neither of which appear to be listed openly but show up on Google Maps (link). Street View is timestamped 2023 and the building appears to be vacant or abandoned.
Digging into this company we find that it's registered to a man named Georgios Gialozoglou - you'll find a lot of interesting things in his name if you search it up.
Specifically, he's been involved with running 'dark fleets' transferring oil between Iran and Venezuela and has shown up on US watchlists and direct sanctions. He also appears to have been involved in the Black Sea 'grain deal' but it's not clear to what extent. (link, link)
In short, it does not appear that the ship that was struck by a drone was affiliated with israeli interests whatsoever, in fact it's quite the opposite. It seems that the israelis, or a proxy acting on their behalf, attacked a ship affiliated with Iranian interests and are trying to paint it as another Houthi attack. -

2023-12-23 at 2:17 PM UTCthe optics is really bad.
out of this 7 countries that are left 5 of them dont have a ship that would work for the mission involved and so didnt bother to send any of their ship for the mission.
and the multinational shipping companies voted with their rudder and chosen to avoid sailing thru the region all together because they knew the US and its coalition of the consenting are powerless to deal with problem.
just as i've anticipated, the supremacy and the dominance of the US Navy ran aground, listed and sank with a woman at the wheel. -

That's normal...they do that in all wars. There are IEDs from Iraq made out of ammo cans tossed off US vehicles
The thing is...digging up unexploded ordnance is a bad idea...they're more lively to spontaneously detonate than not -
