the threat's always been there, but as far as I know they haven't seriously tried in the past

confirmed. the IDF is claiming that they now have control of the Shejaiya neighbourhood and are pulling them out, where the resistance is claiming that over 80 men of the Golani Brigades were killed (israel admits to 72 killed on the first day of operations alone, but aren't clear on numbers after that). -
