The official could not say Saturday how many nations will be involved or exactly what missions they will perform beyond patrolling the Red Sea against Houthi threats.

not him, I mean they (not just Yemen but Hez and the Syrian/Iraqi groups) have been using fairly cheap, low-end stuff when all sides seem to agree that they have more advanced missiles and drones available
concentrating all those warships in the red sea and testing out hypersonics would really kick things off

US tech now makes it about as impossible for another USS Liberty as it is for hamas to pull an october 7th. maybe a USS maine...
