just build your house in a faraday cage. Ez. Every bitcoin skitzo worth his salt keeps his gold plate of seed phrases and cold storage paper and hardware wallets in a faraday cage in a secure underground bunker. Every home owner should have one to prevent cosmic bit flipping and such so you can digitize your brain one day and keep the files in a jar to one day be uploaded to a computer

that kind of stuff should be released regularly and we should have an active development against it.

Energy grids are a dumb idea, they should also be decentralized. One day a western country will get fucked and people will have to change every aspect of their lives and get new sockets and plugs for everything because people are too complacent now

what does that term Threads mean?

like Threads the movie where the nukes destroy UK? is that what it means. a thread or barrage of Nukes all at once?

    look at the link

it's a bomb that spreads tiny, conductive graphite threads across an area, little metallic strings

when they fall on or near high voltage electronics it creates a short circuit and overloads the device

cool but thats just short circuting out a power line which someone could do with hot air balloons or probably even metal cans on a sting and party balloons

EMP is a soft-bomb or high altitude nuke, isn't it?

EMP has a much wider range but it can be blocked by shielding, faraday cages, solid copper etc.

this stuff is meant to be used on power stations and switching equipment, you can't really do anything to stop it

GPS is really relied on in these times.

I have a Thomas Map somewhere but they're a bitch to read. you need a good memory and be able to navigate with the map upside down or sideways at times while reading text rightside up. it gets confusing. it doesn't rotate like on digital virtual maps.

"Building an entire infrastructure from scratch is a monumental task, but with careful planning and strategic implementation, we can make significant progress. Let's break down your request into different components and explore potential approaches to building each one:

    Monetary Banking System:
To create our own monetary banking system, we can leverage the capabilities of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and DASH. These decentralized digital currencies can serve as the foundation of our financial system. We'll need to establish a network of nodes to validate transactions and ensure the security and integrity of the system. Educating people about cryptocurrencies, facilitating exchanges, and promoting their adoption will be key to building a robust and widely accepted monetary banking system.

    Internet Infrastructure:
Developing a decentralized internet infrastructure can be achieved by combining various technologies and approaches. One option is to leverage mesh networks, where devices communicate with each other directly, bypassing the need for a centralized infrastructure. Additionally, satellite-based internet connectivity can help bridge the digital divide in areas lacking physical infrastructure. Open-source projects like the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) can be utilized to create a distributed and resilient web infrastructure, ensuring content availability even if certain nodes go offline.

    Social Media Platform:
For a decentralized social media platform, we can look into platforms like Mastodon. Mastodon operates on the concept of federated social networks, where multiple interconnected servers (instances) host communities. Each instance is independently operated, allowing users to choose their preferred community guidelines. Encouraging the development and adoption of federated social media platforms can promote decentralization and empower users to control their data and online experiences.

    Government and Governance:
A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) can provide a framework for self-governance. By utilizing blockchain technology, a DAO enables transparent decision-making, voting, and resource allocation. To implement this, we can design a DAO structure that encourages participation, accountability, and collective decision-making. Smart contracts can facilitate voting mechanisms and automate governance processes, ensuring fairness and efficiency.

    Electricity Grid:
Creating a sustainable and resilient electricity grid involves a combination of energy sources. Nuclear power, wind, and solar can be harnessed based on the geographical feasibility and resource availability of the region. Developing microgrids that can operate independently and intelligently distribute power can enhance the grid's resilience. Energy storage solutions, such as batteries and pumped hydroelectric storage, can help balance supply and demand fluctuations.

Web Page Design and PGP Encryption:
Education and training play a vital role in empowering individuals to participate in the digital world. We can develop comprehensive curricula to teach web page design, ensuring accessibility and usability. Additionally, providing resources on encryption techniques, including Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), can help users protect their online communications and data privacy.

To begin putting these ideas into action, we should focus on the following steps:

Community Building: Foster a community of like-minded individuals passionate about decentralization, sustainability, and privacy. Collaboration and collective efforts will be essential for success.

Research and Development: Invest in research to identify the most viable technologies, conduct experiments, and develop prototypes. Encourage open-source collaboration and contributions from a wide range of experts.

Pilot Projects: Start small-scale pilot projects in specific regions to test and refine the proposed infrastructure components. Gather feedback and iterate on the design based on real-world experiences.

Advocacy and Education: Raise awareness about the benefits of a decentralized infrastructure through educational initiatives, public outreach, and collaboration with universities and educational institutions.

Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with organizations, governments, and businesses that share the vision of decentralization and can provide resources, expertise, and support to scale the infrastructure.

Building an entirely new infrastructure will require time, resources, and dedicated effort. Incremental progress and continuous improvement will be crucial. By focusing on the core principles of decentralization, sustainability, and user empowerment, we can lay the foundation for a more resilient and inclusive society."

I remember that stuff from the first gulf war. That's more like a short-circuit creator that only works on energized power lines. EMPs fry most everything modern

The threads are to create a circuit to short out a live electric path. They're literally chaff...but instead of aluminum they're a more conductive strand to create a short circuit.

A person with all his electronics could stand right in the middle of one and walk away looking like a retarded fuzz ball

    First part...correct.

Second part...the most damaging would be a high altitude nuke designed with an enhanced EMP effect

There are other EMP generator bombs that are more localized effect

There are also EMP generators that are electric...basically microwave ovens on steroids

Cover the bare aluminum conductors in a jacked

    Instant protection from short circuits

you only need a fraction of that now.

electronics of that era have resistor the size of a candy and needed more energy to fry.

not so with 3 nanometer wafers these days,

Things now are more emp resistant overall. Especially if someone decided to harden the circuitry

Also building codes are applying bonding to the electrical system which has the tendency to attenuate the excess current from an EMP

wont matter if "soft" things like your smart meter or appliances control board get fried.

every appliances have complex and vulnerable electronic control boards these days.

arent they suppose to shut down if theyre broken,

if true then why havent you assemble a handheld EMP machine and zap your meter.

if you zap it dead with an emp device its not like they can prove you break it intentionally or something.

best of all you get your free energy without having to pay your government,
