on the other though, for all their bluster this seems like an admission that they can't. after three months of intense fighting against a theoretically much smaller and weaker force, they have little to show for it aside from a ruined economy and up to 100,000 internally displaced of their own. they're backed by the most powerful economic and political blocs in the world and are constantly committing crimes that no other state could openly get away with and still say 'this will take years' to obliterate an area twice the size of Washington DC -
