Official statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces (Ansarullah):
'In compliance with the directives of our Commander, Abdul Malik Badr Al-Deen Al-Houthi, to support the Palestinian people and their proud resistance:
This morning, the naval forces of the Yemeni military, with the help of God Almighty, carried out a targeting operation against two Israeli ships in Bab Al-Mandab, namely the “Unity Explorer” ship and the “Number Nine” ship. The first ship was targeted with an anti-ship missile and the second ship with a naval drone.
The targeting operation came after the two ships rejected warning messages from the Yemeni naval forces.
The Yemeni armed forces will continue to prevent Israeli ships from navigating the Red and Arab Seas, until the Israeli aggression against our steadfast brothers in the Gaza Strip stops.
The Yemeni Armed Forces renew their warning to all Israeli ships or those associated with Israelis that they will be a legitimate target if they violate our terms.
haven't checked the ships out yet, willing to bet they're owned by israeli billionaires with a thin veneer of deniability though -

i read an article that said the mohameddians launched some drones and unguided rockets at either two merchant ships or the US ship...or both. the irony is that allegedly the missiles missed yet the US ship launched SAMs at it/them.
considering the cheapest navy anti-missile missile is $1-million-plus...and the best one is double-digit millions...the average good one being about $4-million... -

https://salinapost.com/posts/905b22b8-2fe6-444b-b789-3ef9f75f185bAircraft from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) Carrier Air Wing intercepted an Iranian Mohajer-6 Surveillance and Attack Drone Saturday, according to a statement of U.S. Central Command.
The drone was Operating in an “Unsafe and Unprofessional Manner” near Carrier Strike Group 2 (CSG-2) in the Persian Gulf; there was no damage to ships or crew during the Interception.
A U.S. Navy warship sailing near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait shot down a drone launched from Yemen on Wednesday, the U.S. military said, in the latest in a string of threats from Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.
U.S. Central Command said the USS Carney, a Navy destroyer, downed the drone — an Iranian-made KAS-04 — which was launched from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen and was heading toward the warship.
The ship was operating in the the southern Red Sea and was moving toward the strait. At the time of the morning shootdown, the Carney was escorting the USNS Supply, a Military Sealift Command fast combat supply ship, as well as another U.S. flagged and crewed ship carrying military equipment to the region. There were no injuries to U.S. personnel and no damage to the ships, the command said in a statement.
The shootdown came a day after a Iranian drone flew within 1,500 yards (1,370 meters) of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier as it was conducting flight operations in international waters. -

2023-12-05 at 1:33 AM UTC1. 'unidentified jets' have bombed Yemen's capital
2. someone's torched the MEK's offices in Berlin
the MEK is a group that violently opposed the Islamic Revolution in Iran and conducted a number of bombings and assassinations afterwards. since then it's been heavily supported by western governments as a resistance group in Iran. -

yeah, but they would have to fly over Jordan and KSA wouldn't they? would imply it was at the very least allowed, even if the Saudis didn't directly participate -

it never stopped them before. jews pay no attention to the rights of anyone else...plus if they think their F35s are stealthy enough...and obviously most arab IADS are sub-par...its not that big of a deal to anyone -

2023-12-05 at 4:20 AM UTCWar only exists for the sales of the hardware and technology. That's it. They use it against the people of the world, then they replace it, at their own expense. They have to use it, so they can replace it. It really has nothing at all to do with any real conflict. It's a multi-trillion dollar business. Nothing more. If people really understood what it was all about, it would be game over for these parasitic ratbags.
