there were reports that the Zim Haifa and the Central Park were hijacked but neither appears to be true.
I can't find anything about Zim Haifa (it doesn't appear to have actually changed course), but the original claim about the Central Park Vessel was that the Yemenis tried to hijack it and fire ballistic missiles at it (both? lol) and that the hijackers were seized by the US.
Yemen denied both the missiles and the hijacking, now the US is saying that it was actually Somali pirates they arrested.
as an aside, the ship that was confirmed to have a SHAHED lawnmower dropped on it was the CMA CGM Symi, owned by Idan Ofer, another israeli billionaire. the fact that they used just one cheap, relatively small drone and didn't do serious damage suggest they might just be trying to fuck up his insurance premiums.
