A human mind is basically just a bunch of amoebas stacked on top of each other. There’s really other way to put it.
“You” aren’t really you. You are your heart and you liver and your skin and your amygdala and your endocrine system and thousands of other parts that all rely on each other and when you put them together they amalgamate into a thing that you call “me”.
But which part makes it you? What makes it special compared to other living things? At what point do “you” have a soul? Or another way to put it is, what parts can you take away until you don’t anymore?
I don’t think you’ve outright said it in this thread, but I’m assuming you believe in an afterlife? -
