What’s a self replicating molecule?
A single cell is considered the simplest form of life. Somehow I doubt God is judging bacteria and condemning it to hell. -

2023-10-11 at 9:57 PM UTCThis is another problem I have with god. It assumes that humans have a special place in god’s world, but why? Because we have “souls”? But why don’t other things have souls? If you made a computer program that matched or exceeded the number of neural connections that humans have, and could reason and make decisions, and didn’t know it was a machine, would it have a soul? Which line of code separates a cold machine from something with a soul? This is just a thought experiment

In the real life, the life you have that you're not even aware you have (Satan is tricky), the colors are much more beautiful, more vibrant, much more detail, well surpassing the fake 3D world we see in this life. It's a life many levels above this one in the Matrix. But to get there, you have to be good and decent, fair and equitable. The human brain is actually a two-way transmitter. Your "soul" simply means that connection. And, yes, the human body is merely a machine. An organic machine. The body is way less important than the connection. The connection is where you really are. You're in the mind of God, and there's a War on for your mind. A War to end all wars. -

Shit like this doesn’t get to the bottom of the question. You just get to a certain point then shut your brain off and go “well whatever god is real, the details don’t matter”.

Even the Bible says God is "unknowable". All he asks is that you obey his solid advice, and everything you want can be yours. He just wants you to leave the rest to him. -
