lolStablecoins like tether and Circle’s USDC will be required to maintain ample reserves to meet redemption requests in the event of mass withdrawals.
from the people who brought you fractional reserve banking
I wouldn't bother with anything but monero unless you're just gambling on insane speculative markets -

2023-09-20 at 3:40 PM UTCThey don't really intend to use it against child abuse. That's just the pretext for the fools to swallow. What they intend to do is use it against Australian speech and the truth. These worthless scum aren't fooling as many as they think they're fooling.

the encryption bit is interesting, either they're being sneaky and saying 'we're NOT banning encryption but we ARE introducing a rule that makes it impossible' or they're just retarded and don't understand how it works.

yeah more or less
the video I linked is a guy who used to work as a gambling inspector, he'd go around to clubs and casinos to make sure that they were complying with anti-money laundering laws and found that virtually nobody was (you can go to the poker machines in most clubs here, insert as much money as you want, then immediately cash out without even playing to turn 'dirty' money into a gambling payout). he tried to report it several times but nobody wanted to hear it, so he became a whistleblower and went to the media.
Clubs NSW, the lobby group that represents all of the major chains here sued him and managed to get an indefinite gag order until the matter can be heard in court.
the guy was then diagnosed with cancer and has six months or so to live, so they're intentionally dragging the proceedings out in hopes he'll die and they won't have to go to court at all. the video is an interview with him explaining how corrupt the whole system is, violating the gag order because who gives a fuck since he's dying anyway.
in response, the federal government's been blocking and taking down any media that even mentions him -

You don't realize how this works. Borders and sovereignty don't matter, when it comes to globalists and their schemes. For example, Justin Castro in Canada just passed legislation which blocks American news from reaching Canadians, under the false pretext of fair commerce. In Australia, people are speaking out and taking action, so the UK wants to block that from reaching the UK. They don't bring in this legislation to censor their own slaves, they bring it in to block the truth from getting in. -

those age recognition AI sites, apps and websites are a joke. I used the same picture on the same site three times and got three different ages that weren’t even close to each other. -

I just thought it was strange to say this law was designed specifically to silence Australian people when it’s a UK law. I think you just know aldra is Australian and assumed the article was about Australia without having read it -

2023-09-20 at 5:16 PM UTCBut I get it you made a mistake. Anyway I realize this will have wider implications for the world like how in California they have that dumb prop 65 makes it so goods that end up in Timbuktu have a warning saying it causes cancer when it’s like a possible 1 in 100,000 chance or whatever
-
