source sneeded once again there are a lot more small towns and stuff where the cost of living isn't insane. That phenomenae is not unique to california at all, look at any major metropolitan area like living in New York, same shit, high taxes, no guns, no weed either.
But people say you get better goberment benefits so its worth it

yeah but you haven't had to pay property tax on that every year and that shit is not cheap. You have to have some kind of income to afford it or else it's just an expense you aren't making money from if you don't have a house on there renting it out.
I lived in small towns and basically lived in a shammy on someones property so they could pay taxes on it , they were an oldje couple and I was the first person to rent their place in years that wasn't trying to grow weed there so they liked me -

It must be a shitty place nobody wants to live then. Because making a living from a farm is basically an industrial thing nowadays you might be able to get by selling fruit at the farmers market but they will nickle and dime every peach and pear you sell so you will always be at a competitive disadvantage vs the INDUSTRIAL AGRICULTURE FOOD INDUSTRY

the government wouldn't exist without stealing money from us all, take whatever you can get while it lasts because it might not last forever -

It backed onto 10,000 acres of national forest...isn't far from Lake Conroe and I get calls ever week asking if I want to sell (as it's still in my name).
Stay in your gov housing kid!
Most of the 5.7 is wooded and so classed as undeveloped land...which means dirt cheap taxes...the homesite gets the homestead exemption of course. -
2023-09-08 at 9:54 PM UTCDo you know how much it costs to feed a pond of nice Koi every year??? Certainly more than $900 I know people that dropped hundreds of dollars just on their pimped out koi ponds with bamboos and the FANCY HIGH CLASS FOOD
It doesn't last long either those fuckers are hungry
$120 right there just to have some fishies splash around and once you get them they can live for many seasons so you don't want them to die or that expensive koi you dropped a whole rack on is just wasted money and you gotta fish it out and throw it away and PAY YOUR TRASH COLLECTION YEARLY COLLECTION FEE AND DOn"T FORGET THAT WATER AND TV LICENSE AND YOUR YEARLY INSPECTION FOLKS

Cool spot but
Blu-shirts make bout double in Cali than in Texas so ur place is less affordable. and also hella far from the town to go work or do things other than push dirt around and mow you're grass -
2023-09-08 at 10:12 PM UTCCa has a high population from all the wetbacks, asians and streetshitters pouring in. Pretty sure you can cap a nigga in Texas if he fucking with your car at night, that's a win for me, fuck a nigga.
Ca has some beautiful areas and some nice weather so I'll give em that. But they got some serious damn property taxes, I don't want to work a second job to pay that shit. I could buy a nice small farm around here for $700K with a nice pond. And who the fuck feeds fish in a farm pond. -
