It could yes...but depending on the technology level 1 person could also destroy the climate...or fix it. Have you never watched Highlander 2??

healthcare is "free" in my country but of course nothing in life is truly free

I can still "file my taxes" though and apparently I will get money back because thats like something people do and I never do it but I work plenty of jobs and have all this money stolen from me that's supposedly owed to me. I just call it all forced economic interaction

I have no economic ability to avoid it like a bandit on the road sticking a knife in your face either pay up or fuck off, sign the paper or get fucked. Zoomers love signing paper and will happily bleed the system dry and I root them on, fuck getting a job just sell drugs and scam the system it's all fucked anyways, but you should build value and skills and focus on a career and contribute to underground economy though, taxes will get you one way or another but it's best to avoid it all if you can

at least that's how I feel about it all

You guys know I'm just fucking with ya. I told Bradley loads of times to find a trade that he can work for cash. Lots of tradesmen will cut you a deal if you pay em cash.

The countries with "free" healthcare generally have long waiting lists to get shit done.

A few years back my dad had a hernia and was on the waiting list to have it fixed...22 months. My brother and I paid for him to go have it done privately, it was taken care of in 6 weeks...you get what you pay for etc.

Yeah I got a free aircraft carrier and submarine for my protection, didn't cost me a dime.

Lol I have not. I'm a simple man, Jiggaboo. I think Terminator 2 is the best Terminator.

Is it not a fair comparison though? Why do people care about their taxes when it's such a tiny little thing overall? Like why do people care about North Korea? Why do people care about "all these illegals coming over our borders and stealing our jobs!!!" Why does a person that has worked a cushy job their whole life, everyone they know has worked a cushy job their whole life, seemingly in a mad HUFF about illegals taking all of our jobs?

It's not though...if as you suggest the individual taxes don't matter...then why collect them? because they do matter..as part of the mass collective.

Again same with voting...every vote counts even if you don't think it does...if no one voted or no one paid taxes we'd be in shit street, Tennessee wouldn't we.

Caring about how your tax money is spent is reflected in how you might vote...and then multiple that by 150 million voters (or however many are eligible to vote) you have your answer why it matters.

yeah cash under the table work is cool and I see lots of dudes older than me that just live like that, my dad does it, my uncle, I used to do it too when you want liquor money to drink every day it's the only way to afford it is to work, thats pretty much all I did when I was younger unless I was working at a place getting a check

everyone raves about the healthcare here but I avoid that shit like the plague it's all immigrants it's lame as fuck and the only time I've ever had good service is when I had to pay a bunch of money or sometimes you get the lucky church health run clinic or government funded addiction place. I could probably get all kinds of meds and even probably disability like all my mentally ill friends and everyone I know gets government money for being a retard basically and has to go to the doctor and be like YUP IM SKITZO.

I would rather dig holes and live off crackers and ramen than deal with any of that shit, it's more annoying than corporate bullshit places that abuse workers or take advantage of them, everyone is a scammer or has an angle and don't sell drugs or try to do anything legit or grey market or black market because you will also probably get scammed there too.

it's all corrupt and impossible to avoid

Ok that makes sense, but why then would these people poo-poo other matters under the same context? I am using climate change as an example. Why does person A get all in a big tizzy about taxes that have really never impacted their life in any significant way whatsoever, but then laugh at the person saying we should do our little part to help not alter the climate in a negative way?

Is it just emotions? Just picking and choosing what to care about?

Why should I take a person seriously who says one thing is a huge deal and the other thing isn't a big deal at all?

Why don't we all just conclude that it doesn't matter? Why do we care about anything, mannnnnnnnn?

what the fuck am I talking about I think I ate a big mushroom

I met a guy once that lived in the trees and he didn't flush the toilet because he said it was bad for mother nature and he was like this 60 year old hippie guy and he had to come to town once every few months to get coffee so I would only rarely see him like a random encounter video game character

he might have just had a hole, or maybe something fancier. I've seen a few people living in places that just have a outhouse, and Ol' Privy

other people I knew had fancier setups and there are a lot of private water taps for potable non potable water, also pretty much all of them grew weed so they needed lots of water anyways

Because humans being PRIMARILY responsible for climate change isn't really a proven thing to doubters. There are many natural factors regarding climate change...the big one being climate change has happened historically WITHOUT humans having been around...climate change has been constant since the Earth was formed...humans have only been here for a blink of the global historical eye.

I think people tend to overlook the fragility of life on Earth and how it can change suddenly, an asteroid here, a supernova there, a massive solar flare, a gamma ray burst etc...

Then there is the scale factor...is 8 billion people having their A/C running 24/7 really enough of an influence to change the climate SIGNIFICANTLY? ...it's like suggesting an ant hill significantly changes a cow field because there are 200,000 ants in it shitting pissing farting and stomping around in the field...the only time the ants are noticed is when the farmer stands on the anthill and gets them running up his leg.

so he wouldn't flush his hole? I'm just not understanding the 'I don't flush' thing when he isn't using a toilet that could be flushed to begin with. Or was that his point? It's better to shit into the ground instead of using flush toilets.
