If you watch this on a small laptop screen while crouched underneath your desk, shitting into a bucket you can get the OceanGate Titanic experience for free.

The '60s were even more easily entertained, with chickens in a bag on the wall playing a harp to a singing giraffe, not to mention the talking mules, gay soldiers and flying nuns.

looking at the design of the submarine, these people are fucking idiots for getting on in the first place.
wireless game controller for steering with no backup viewports rated at less than half the depth they meant to dive unladen it experiences 95% of the stresses it's designed to withstand, was never tested with 5 moving, breathing people in it
ooooo, so now your a submarine expert now, hmmmmmm.
reports now that they've found a debris field, but don't know whether it's related to the missing sub
if it is it means the sub depressurised and got obliterated, which honestly would suck a lot less than being locked in a tiny fart locker with four other people in the dark as you slowly run out of heat and air

I was listening to something the other day and they were suggesting the carbon fiber shell was a bad idea and pretty much "untested" for such vehicles.

I heard similar; carbon fibre's strong and light but it's brittle when you put enough pressure on it. like (I think) trump said a few pages back they experimented with titanium submarine shells during the cold war but it was too brittle and kept fracturing
