I don't think that'll happen again nearly as much, because when he was released he stayed in Kharkiv and went back to doing the exact thing that got him into trouble, complaining about the Ukrainian regime, praising the enemy, and basically acting like a propagandist. There's nothing special about Ukraine - no government at war is going to put up with that.

He's been massively over trusting in the west who have back stabbed him and his country countless times, and openly bragged about doing so.
Far too fair handed on his enemies, same for those that claim to be his allies too.
He's a zionist and puts Israel above valued allies, and above russian interests as well.
There's not a single member of the russian government with any power or claim that wouldn't have been far more violent during this in pretty much every way that matters, and far less lenient on betrayals like he has been.
