Im sure Ive shown a few of you around my property on cam before and you'll know I live next to a dense forest filled with Wendigos. The kiddo took off running into the thicket today and I gave chase expecting to maybe catch some thorns or find some beer cans but what we came upon was odd as fuck to say the absolute least. What was originally a game turned quickly into a mystery. We both had been going for a while when we saw a clearing up ahead and approached it. This clearing was quite small maybe 30x30 but dead in the center was a staircase. The staircase was pristine and carpeted but just stood there alone not on any old foundation and no ruins of a home anywhere. When I walked closer I could see what good condition the stairs were in. Looked to be a nice dark wood with white carpeting on the treads and sides. The closer I got the weirder about them I felt. After a moment of anxiety I picked up the kid and went straight back home to grab my phone and tell the misses of our discovery. After dinner I ventured out to find them again and this time take pictures but I couldn't located the clearing even though Im sure I took the same exact path maybe only an hour prior. The whole experience was really odd and off putting. I'd like to try and find them again for a picture but the sun when down and it was time to go inside.

That wood is probably worth a bob or two, dismantle them and take the wood home for future DIY projects.

Is this for real? It reminds me of House of Leaves, the Plymouth plantation settlers write in a diary that they see stairs in the woods. That's their last entry. They disappear.
How do you think Victorian ladies mounted their horses with the riding dresses they wore? I regret selling my porcelain doll that was in a Victorian riding costume...
