what is lacking is the political will to invest capitals to turn their civilian production capacity into manufacturing war machines.
any european country that still has vehicle and plane production lines like france can make tanks and artilleries on a massive scale. germany is only deindustrialized due to its political classes. germany sits on a pile of cheap and abundant energy, albeit dirty like niggers. it has limitless reserve of coal and all it takes is one hitler to reindustrialize the country.
what is low in supply is the will to turn environmentally clean berlin and paris into smoky shanghai and peking.

those were the two major ones I think, there have been other times but lower profile. I remember reading about how they'd been caught by airport staff stealing passports, cloning them then returning them before the owner realised they were gone, but having trouble finding that

They can have the factories, the materials, the blueprints and the workers and they still wouldn't be able to build them, it takes trade knowledge and a lot of stuff that ends up in the finished product isn't reflected in the prints.

France and UK can produce, but not well and not in volume, especially considering energy prices. it'd take a long time for them to build up the industrial base to serve much more than their own markets. Germany's entire heavy industry was reliant on cheap energy, and now that it's not available a lot of it's been moved to the US. they're more or less de-industrialised.
