Coal is a petrolium mass. a solid form of oil.
Charcoal is not Coal. charcoal is burned wood but not burned all the way through. if you char the wood it lights faster and can be used more efficiently as a fuel itself like coal but won't burn as long.
they found out it makes a great water filter with sand which is why charcoal is used in britter water filters
if you slide off the grid. get some sand, make some charcoal. and boil the water and run it through your makeshift filter. by mashing up the charcoal and placing it over the sand you place in a clean shirt or cloth or even a sock.
I learned this on Youtube and have a bunch of survival vids. how to make brick tiles and how to make a stove out of clay that you make tiles in. everything from scratch. easier said than done. but red clay has iron in it. there is tons of it in the mountains -
2022-11-26 at 7:41 PM UTCI know there’s a lot heinous cheap vodka out there but there’s some good low end offerings. I usually go for Tito’s as king of the mid range, but Monopolowa is a $10 fifth and it’s pretty drinkable and mixes well. At that price point I really don’t think home enhancementing is going to be worth it even on a tight budget. Like if you’re that broke just go for the box wine

Box Wine was the Tits-McGoo in the 80s. everyone drank it. but it was hard to pour into tin -tubs and make wine-punch aka Spritzers
red red wine was more than a song. it was a lifestyle for the party of cheap drink
thousands of quality brands out of Napa but no money to buy them. stick to Gallo or some shit. crazy headache the next day from the cheap fast process. also they use sulfates to quicken the mature process from the usual 2 years or more to that of like 8 months.
someone told me this. a good wine won't use it even though it's a natural process or by-product. it's not added in more expensive wines. so you can wake up and not be so hung over. -
2022-11-26 at 9:13 PM UTCI ordered some good carbon today.

Sulphates or sulphites?
Wine is done after about 6 months, and additional aging won't help much, except for improving the cachet. It can lead to oxidative damage, etc, though.
Sulphates are preservatives and aren't used in wine that much. Sulphites are used to kill off yeast and end fermentation early. There can be good reasons to do this, like keeping a wine sweet but low alcohol. I never used any chemicals when I used to make wine, as a result my wine used to always continue fermenting for months, and be fizzy and very high alcohol when I'd open it due to fermentation going on for months in a closed bottle. -

The faster they speed up fermamentation the more impurities that are believed to cause headaches
However 18 months to two years are needed for most wooden barrels before sampling and to bottle which takes another 6 months -
