The Romans had it right. Once they would encircle the city, they would use catapults to lob diseased and rotted bags of meat, shit, piss, vomit, any vile substance they could get their grubby hands on. The villagers would have rotted rats, human remains, animal bile and all kinds of festering liquids raining down on their heads 24 hours a day. It wasn't long before people started climbing the walls to surrender.

Russia's dropped the 'grain corridor' agreement since that drone attack on Sevastopol came from the demilitarised area it covered; they claim the sea drones were deployed from a civilian ship. The original reason for the corridor to be opened were the claims that poorer countries (Africa, middle east) would face famine with the drop in exports, but as it turns out around 90% of the grain exported went to the EU to drive their prices down anyway.
For all the people the AFU's been feeding to Russian artillery, they haven't been able to move the control lines at all - in fact, Russian forces (mostly LDNR and Wagner, as they're still waiting on at least 200k of the 300k reinforcements) are on the offensive in northern Donetsk.
